Tiki was the only open source wiki platform present at the show which featured a number of proprietary closed source solutions. It is clear that Tiki continues to lead the way as a major force in the wiki platform space, especially as an open source alternative promising freedom from vendor lock-in and benefits of development cost-sharing. Moreover, Tiki is more than a wiki as it combines blogs, forums, structured data trackers, and over a hundred Web 2.0 content management features in one package. Having people coming up to the booth and saying "Hey, I use Tiki too" was one of the highlights for the team at the expo.
